I began martial arts at a very young age. The journey of my life has brought me to many different styles and arts, appreciating, training with and learning from many special people and taking with me an eternal wealth of knowledge of philosophy and real world combat. I entered the protection industry at 19 years old as private security in high profile nightclubs. In the next 15 years I had advanced my career providing my skill set to private clientele, executive protection and nationwide fugitive recovery. I have had hands on experience with equipment and materials that have impressed me as well as failed me. Relying upon my knowledge and expertise in tensile materials, I utilize what is useful and disregarding what is useless. Deriving from this principle I created my first successful Company Kurotadori, it has been an absolute privilege to offer my products and services to customers all over the world. We are proudly handcrafted and our products are designed to order. Kurotadori does keep stock of certain products and the product will always indicate if it is in stock or will begin production. We do try to respond to every inquiry within a reasonable time, please allow 24 - 48hrs. Our standard production lead time is 30 business days from time of purchase. If there is a time variation, we will contact you directly and notify you on the status of your purchase. All of our items are handcrafted to order and production begins immediately upon payment. Therefore, all order cancellations will result in a 18% restocking fee. We maintain strong communication with our customers and will do our very best to keep you informed during the production process.

We ship domestic and internationally. Shipping & handling is free on all products that are shipped to the 48 contiguous United States. Shipping & handling time is dependent upon the recipient's location. For domestic orders, standard shipping time for receipt of product is within 6 business days. International orders may take up to 21 business days, not including any delays through customs agency. It is the buyer's responsibility to check local importation laws and restrictions. International orders will accrue an additional Shipping & Handling charge depending upon your destination.

Kurotadori has partnered with Helcim for effortless E commerce. Helcim has the highest level of security in the merchant industry and in this day and age of cyber threats that is a necessity. Helcim is committed to helping our merchants stay secure and compliant. We undergo rigorous audits, testing, and inspections to maintain the highest level of compliance in the industry. Our talented team of in-house developers, systems engineers and security administrators work to maintain strict security standards at all times.

The Firewall. Helcim’s security system includes firewalls with both an Intrusion Detection System and an Intrusion Prevention System to protect against both active and passive threats. The systems monitor network traffic and look for any unusual behavior, abnormal traffic, or malicious coding and prevent exploitation of any potential vulnerabilities. In addition to inclusion on Helcim’s firewalls, all servers in our environment are also required to have IDS and IPS installed locally to detect and warn system administrators of unusual activity and to inspect attack data if it occurs. If suspicious activity is identified, the IPS will take the corresponding action required to protect the servers. Alerts are also sent to Helcim’s security team for ongoing monitoring and review.

Encryption. Helcim encrypts all sensitive merchant data and cardholder data using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with 256-bit keys. To meet PCI compliance requirements, all sensitive cardholder fields, including name, card numbers, expiry dates and cardholder addresses (for AVS) encrypted when stored. Helcim does not store card-verification-values (CVV), PIN, EMV, nor mag data.

All carriers are handcrafted by professionals with years of experience and every product is constructed of high quality and durable materials to ensure the end user a very long and effective life from Kurotadori body armor. We offer nothing but the very best at economical and innovative pricing.

Kurotadori body armor has been tested and rated to protect the wearer against threats within the specified NIJ 0101.06 rating level of your vest; no armor is 100% bulletproof. Specialized armor piercing bullets and ultra high velocity rounds may not be stopped by armor. No soft body armor will completely protect against rifle or long gun ammunition. For protection against rifle threats, Kurotadori offers hard armor ICW/SA to be used in conjunction with your soft body armor. Always refer to your ballistic panel inserts to determine the level of your armor.
